Manchester United are not getting results and some players are showing they are not up to the standard of the club.

The recent 2 – 1 loss to Fenerbache in the Europa League sent the club to lower depth and fans have begun to show their frustration at the players and even manager Jose Mourinho.

We are not saying these players arre past their prime but they just need to be sold because they earn big wages and they show little on the pith that they deserve it.

1. Memphis Depay

Has been a very expensive flop since his arrival from PSV in the summer of 2015. Reports say he could be sold in January with AC Milan, PSV and AS Roma targeting moves.

2. Morgan Schneiderlin

He has made just two starts since the beginning of the season and it is baffling to still see him at the club. He would interest many Premier League clubs who remember his performances at Southampton.

AC Milan, Everton are interested in his services.

3. Wayne Rooney

For the last four years, Rooney has looked past his prime. How he remains an England international and captain (though he is only 31) is baffling. A move to China has been discussed.

He earns too much and contributes very little despite his latest goal against Fenerbache. Hs exit could free up space for Henrik Mhkitaryan in the squad.

4. Bastian Schweinsteiger

He might have returned to training with the first team but he needs to leave as Jose Mourinho does not seem to trust him. He need to salvage his career and a move to the MLS has been discussed.
