A source said: “The minister is a no-nonsense person; he simply told Pinnick to watch his public utterances, saying he appears to react to everything and everybody and it appears he does not have a spokesperson, who ought to be doing the talking on his behalf.

“The minister says the frequent utterances by the NFF president have worked against his image and the way he is perceived by the public.”

Pinnick has come under intense scrutiny since he said the NFF was looking to appoint a foreign coach for the Super Eagles after the tenure’s of Sunday Oliseh and Samson Siasia.
