The Senate went on recess and won’t meet until the April 12. It’s said that about 20 of the senators are available and reachable – out of over 100.

Saraki arrived for his latest sitting at the CCT in the company of at least 12 senators.

This was the lowest number of senators to accompany the Senate president to the CCT since the beginning of his trial in September 2015 – the highest being 81.

The politician had challenged his trial at the CCT, but he failed every time.
