Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) is sure that President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration will soon totally eliminate Boko Haram insurgency in the country.

According to NAN, this was made know in a statement signed by the body director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, and containing that terrorists’ are days are counted.

“We strongly believe that recent incidents of suicide bombing in some parts of the North East are borne out of a sense of defeat, as all territories occupied by the insurgents have been liberated by the Nigerian Armed Forces.

“President Muhammadu Buhari and the top echelon of the Nigerian Army deserve accolades for this monumental fait accompli.”

A similar assertion was made by the country leader in a recent interview with the BBC. His statement generated a lot of negative reactions. Buhari said the Nigerian army had “technically defeated” Boko Haram.

“They have now been reduced to that but articulated conventional attacks on centers of communication and population in towns and so on, they are no longer capable of doing that effectively. So I think technically we have won the war because people are going back to their neighborhoods.”
