A video of Nigerian economist and former finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has surfaced on the internet.

The video showing the globally-renowned economist dancing dutifully to the tune of Psquare’s ‘Chop my money’ has decided to go viral at a time she is currently battling to clear her name from the ongoing investigation of arms deal involving former national security adviser to President Jonathan, Sambo Dasuki.

However, it was noticed that Okonjo-Iweala got caught on camera dancing to the popular Nigerian song about a year ago, during an inspirational talk with a large group of youth. While trying to pay tribute to late South African president, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, during a TEDx idea-sharing talk, she told the youth to stand up while she danced to the tune of the said song. She later talked on the topic: ‘Don’t trivialize corruption, tackle it’.

Meanwhile, over allegations that she is in the know of how the $2bn meant for acquisition of arms meant to battle dreaded Islamist sect, Boko Haram was spent.
